External venetian blinds eliminate the air con
This renovated home in West Sussex was seriously overheating and air conditioning was insufficient to maintain a comfortable temperature.
Our client opted for motorised external venetian blinds for the south facing first floor bedrooms.
External venetians feature tilting slats which allow full control of light and can be fully retracted into the casing above the window.
The main bedroom has a window of over 3 metres wide so an additional cable was supplied to improve wind resistance. This was fixed within the window and concealed behind the frame.
We are excited to report that the bedrooms in this property no longer overheat or require mechanical cooling.
