We joined a Somfy event on the launch of their Animeo Suite, which offers a ground breaking wireless BMS system for commercial buildings.
The software includes a specification tool which allows input of requirements and building data to create a specification report. This includes the type and number of blinds and options for weather sensors or security packages. The Animeo interface produces 3D models of the building, links operation to live weather data and allows remote commissioning.
But that is not all! Animeo suite also offers a remote maintenance service, whereby errors and their location in the building are flagged up, including issues like a low battery or motor in need of repair.
Very impressive and a great tool to improve the efficiency of dynamic solar shading in our buildings.
